• In 2010, without any background in computers and programming, I decided to teach myself how to code using the Python Programming Language.
  • July, 2012 - Seeing all the hype about the Ruby Programming Language on the internet, i gave in to my curiosity and started teaching myself ruby.
  • August 2012 - with the basics I learned from python, I picked up on the basics of Ruby, and went ahead into web development (RoR > Sinatra, HAML, SCSS and CoffeeScript).
  • August 15, 2012 - I reactivated my odesk contractor profile today, concentrating on web development projects using Ruby. This way, I am going to get paid while I polish my programming skills.
  • August 22, 2012 - Started learning web development with node.js, coffeescript and a few javascript frameworks/libraries;
  • october 31, 2012 - Started reading about C programming to complement my ruby and web dev skills.
  • January 5, 2013 - I've been wishy-washy about going deeper into learning ruby. The only ruby killer app that I knew before was ruby on rails. And then I discovered "metasploit"...
